11. Google User Data
If you connect a Google Calendar to GrowthOS, you are granting Baystreet AI access to specific parts of your Google Account. This section explains exactly what we ask for, why, and what we do with it.
What we request, and why
- See and edit events on your calendars (
calendar.events) — so that a booking made through your GrowthOS booking page appears on your calendar, and so a reschedule or cancellation updates or removes that same entry. We only create and modify events that originate from GrowthOS. - See when you are busy (
calendar.freebusy) — so your booking page does not offer a time you are already committed. This returns only busy and free intervals. It does not return the titles, guests, locations or contents of your existing events, and we never request them. - See the list of calendars you own (
calendar.calendarlist.readonly) — so you can choose which calendars are checked for conflicts. - Your email address (
openid,email) — to show you which Google account is connected.
What we store
We store the access and refresh tokens Google issues, the email address of the connected account, and the identifiers of the calendars you selected. We store the identifier of any event we create, so that we can update or cancel it later. We do not copy, store or index the contents of your calendar.
Limited Use
Baystreet AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the booking feature you connected, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit permission, for security purposes, or where required by law.
Disconnecting
You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time from Settings inside GrowthOS, which deletes the stored tokens. You can also revoke our access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once revoked, GrowthOS stops writing to and reading from your calendar; bookings continue to work and are still emailed to you.
